Matcha Chia Balls

Matcha Chia Balls

I’ve been on a matcha kick lately, it’s been a great substitute for when I’m feeling like drinking something but coffee isn’t the answer. I also decided last week that I need to snack more instead of barely eating till 3pm and then eating everything in sight until 8pm and then hating myself. Enter: matcha chia balls. So easy to make and very delicious!

Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients into a food processor or a blender and mix until a rough but even mixture forms.
  2. Scoop out with an ice cream scooper and press into balls with your hands. I usually can form 6 golf ball sized balls. A “serving” is 2 balls, which means I can get back 3 servings out of this recipe.
  3. They taste best after sitting in the fridge for 30 minutes or so to allow for them to harden a bit. You can store them in the fridge for about a week! They travel well, perfect for lunch boxes and gym bags.
