Editorial Standards
We treat recipes and gear coverage as journalism, not content marketing.
What we stand by
- Every recipe is tested in our kitchen at least three times before publishing. We retest when readers flag inconsistencies and update the post with the date.
- Every piece of gear is used in our test kitchen for at least 30 days before we recommend it.
- We write honestly about flaws. If a $200 pan has a real downside, we say so.
- We never accept payment for placement. Affiliate links earn us a commission only when readers buy — and only if we already independently recommended the product.
- We disclose every commercial relationship in the affiliate disclosure and at the top of every page with paid links.
Corrections
Found a mistake — wrong oven temperature, broken substitution, outdated price? Email [email protected]. Confirmed corrections are logged in the post with the change date.
Updates
Recipes and gear posts show a “Last updated” date. We re-review long-lived posts at least annually, and immediately when a manufacturer changes a product spec.
