Ingredients
- 2 slices sourdough bread toasted
- 2 heirloom tomatoes sliced
- 10 leaves basil torn
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- flaky salt to taste
Method

Toast sourdough until deeply golden, ~3 minutes.

Layer tomato slices generously across each piece of toast.

Scatter torn basil, drizzle olive oil, finish with flaky salt. Eat immediately.
Notes & variations
Use the ripest tomatoes you can find. Out of season, swap in good canned San Marzanos, drained and patted dry.
