Healthy(ish) Cooking on a Budget(ish)

This blog is all about me sharing my favorite meals with you. I like to think of these as generally healthy recipes – healthy(ish) – that don’t require a bunch of strange ingredients you can only buy for $49.99 at Whole Foods – budget(ish). Many of my recipes include substitutions based on diet needs and preferences, so feel free to use this page a guidebook for your cooking adventures.

 

Meet the Chef

My passion for cooking started when I was very young. I grew up on a healthy diet, with frequent home cooked meals – some straight from our vegetable garden. But then I went off to college and, like most college students, fell into a routine of fast food, fro yo, and other delicious, terribly unhealthy snacks.

Since I’ve graduated, I’ve learned to cook healthy-ish, with most of my cooking following those healthy recipes I grew up on, but still indulging every once in a while!
